London and London Pride, Summer 2003

From Paris we passed through the Chunnel and spent a few days in London.  We visited friends, including Sarah and Karen (they introduced us to several of their lovely friends...thanks, you two) and Nigel and Joe.  I also went to Oxford for a day and visited with Nigel, Simon (from the Madrid portion of the trip) and others.

We had a great time and London Pride was a great party (despite the rain).  The only glitch was the unfortunate loss or theft of my passport.  We ended up staying an extra day so that I could have it replaced by the US Embassy.  Hurrah for bureaucrats...they were damned efficient and nice.
