David has become something of a wine collector during the last year and a half, so we decided to travel to the Napa Valley to learn more about wine making and visit the wineries that David fancies. (NB. To me, wine is similar to frozen pizza...I like all of them but some are better than others; the nuance of wine is lost on me.) We visited Opus One (the most educational tour), Duckhorn (the best tasting wine of the trip...particularly their new dry vermouth, King Eider), and Joseph Phelps (the most generous pourers).
